Who is this for?
As with all of our programs, everyone is welcome!
Spring is all about helping players prepare for the upcoming school & summer club seasons. We are confident that everyone will grow over the 9-week period, regardless of experience level or age.
If you have any questions about Spring, please feel free to reach out to us by email at “general@nylo.ca”.
What does a session look like?
Each session will have a warm-up, a foundational drill (focused on a core skill or concept), and then conclude with multiple scrimmages.
Players can expect approximately 60-75 minutes of scrimmage time each session.
Each session, players will be divided into scrimmage groups which will change each week.
*Note: We ask that everyone bring both a Light & Dark shirt to each session to help us form groups each week!
The Veo Experience
Veo is an AI-powered camera that automatically follows the action on the field and has been used to record our drills and scrimmages each season. We will look to record each weekly scrimmage (where feasible) this Spring, too!
Everyone will gain full access to our weekly recordings during the Spring program.
Elementary-school scrimmages, too!
This year, we’ll also have space for elementary-school players (Grades 5, 6, & 7) to play, too!
We are committed to helping build strong elementary-school Ultimate Frisbee programs on the North Shore. These players eventually feed into our high-school systems and are extremely important to the growth of our sport.
Registration is FREE for all individuals in Grades 5, 6, & 7! When registering, be sure to select the “Elementary-school” option.
Spring Registration Details
Spring registration costs $50 + GST, or $10 per session for high-school (Grade 8-12) players. This cost includes:
- 9-weeks of in-person scrimmages (2.0 hours per session on Saturdays, 7:00 – 9:00pm)
- Full access to our Veo recordings during the program
- Elite-level coaching from those that have coached & played both nationally & internationally
- Cost includes all facility, equipment, insurance, and administrative fees
Players that have partial availability are welcome to play with us on a part-time basis.
Our program aims to provide equitable playing opportunities for everyone, and it is perfectly fine not being able to fully commit to every week due to other commitments during the season.
